The new Erasmus+ programme fits in the Europe Strategy 2020, in educational and formation Strategy 2020 and in the Rethinking Education strategy. It covers all the educational, formation, youth and sports strategies.
In educational matter, it includes all the levels: student, vocational training, higher education and formation of adult persons.
Erasmus + integrates the current programs in the Program of Permanent Learning and the programs of top international education too: Mundus, Tempus, ALFA, Edu-link and bilateral programs, Youth Action Program too.
This new program focuses on the formal and informal learning beyond the borders of the EU, with a clear vocation of internationalization being opened to third countries with the aim of improvement of the educational and formative capacities of people to improve employment of students, professorship and workers.
In the area of the Vocational training Erasmus + wants to improve its quality in Europe, helping to the institutions related to the vocational training to create Strategic Associations with other organizations and companies and this way to establish solid relationship with the labor world.
In general, ERAMUS + will help to improve the possibilities of employment and personal skills and, thus, to promote the competitiveness of the European economy.
